DigitalGlobe, one of the world’s leading high resolution satellite imaging companies collaborated with the Associated Press to use satellite imagery to investigate human trafficking in Papua New Guinea. Images combined with data analysis, were able to show the occurrence of trafficking among fishing boats in waters off of Papua New Guinea.
