WITNESS engages technology companies, creates applications and supports digital policies that help human rights advocates safely, securely and ethically document human rights abuses and expose them to the world. WITNESS’ Tech + Advocacy team ensures that skill-building, tools, innovation, and advocacy to social media platforms speak to both global and local gaps. It includes explanations on content moderation, privacy and security, right to record/policy advocacy and disinformation.
